Starcraft 2 Rumors to be settled on May 19?
A lot of rumors have been circulating around the web these days about either a new Starcraft 2 PC game or an MMORPG based on Starcraft.
As you may well know, Koreans are madly in love about Starcraft. In Korea, Starcraft champions are treated like celebrities and often endorse real-life products while taking home top money. Meanwhile, Blizzard will have a huge event on May 19 at Seoul. Speculations abound that the company might officially announce Starcraft 2 or the Starcraft MMORPG title(s). Officials of Blizzard already said that they have a major announcement to make this year and the press are hawking that May 19 might be the date...
But with the 7 million subscribers of WoW, I'm kinda thinking if there's room for 2 behemoths in the online scene. I'm sure Blizzard would still like to capitalize on WoW and maybe release Starcraft in the next couple of years. But knowing the demand for the game (Starcraft), who knows? Blizzard might just prove to everyone why they're among the best gaming companies in the world.
So, would you rather have Starcraft 2 or Starcraft the MMO?

both! ^^ but mmo would be nice because the 3 core races are very different from each other and that alone would make it interesting.

I just hope that whatever it is... 2 or Starcraft MMORPG, all I want is.. it will be more fun than the first Starcraft. Tried Warcraft, DoTA and WoW but it is only Starcraft that made me play the game AGAIN after several years.
An MMO? Wouldn't that make it identical to a few MMOs out there already?

wow! starcraft is my best game that i ever played, d parin ako nag sasawa mag laro nito, sana binago lang yung graphics at new updates wag lang yung style ng laro... mmo? hmmm..
When it comes to StarCraft, either StarCraft 2 or "StarCraft Universe"(TM - hehe :p ) (coined by yours truly).
The setup should either be one of these two:
Setup 1:
New Game: StarCraft 2
New MMO: Diablo 3 Online (as coined by Battle.Net fans)
Setup 2:
New Game: Diablo 3
New MMO: StarCraft Universe
I'm voting more on the Setup 2, as a Diablo 3 Online will directly compete with WoW being the same genre.
Additionally, a "StarCraft Universe" MMOG 'might' give Blizzard the elusive #1 spot in Korea, which as we all know WoW only held for a few weeks.

I terribly suck at playing starcraft so I'm voting for the mmorpg LOL!
And maybe after they release an sc mmorpg, they might release sc tcg too like the one they did with WoW.
