BRAND MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION
The position is primarily responsible for overall management of a game brand, including setting of long-term brand direction as well as strategic planning and leadership, execution of programs geared toward acquisition, usage and retention of users.
As Brand Manager, he/she will be the champion of his/her brand. Takes full responsibility of setting the direction for the brand’s position in the market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop highly strategic marketing plans with the goal of creating more value for his brand.
2. Highly innovative, aspires to set the industry standard in creativity of marketing communications rather than follow it.
3. Timely and schedule oriented; ensures all marketing plans are executed on time and as per specifications.
4. Overall steward of the Brand’s P&L. He/she takes full responsibility for maintaining efficiencies in the operations of his/her brand.
5. The Champion of his/her brand, he/she interfaces with service groups and game developers, aggressively pushing for cooperation in line with executing the brand’s programs while maintaining a healthy and harmonious working relationship w/ them.
6. Closely monitors all integrated marketing communication materials and ensures the protection of the brand’s equities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Marketing, or related Commerce courses
- At least 1-3 years experience as a brand or product manager for fast-moving consumer goods, retail, telecommunications or related businesses
- Can craft marketing plans, familiar with reading and interpreting P&L statementsWilling to travel and engage in field work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and results oriented
- Creative and strategic thinker
- Team player
- Strongly people oriented
- Computer savvy, Must be proficient in MS Office
- Gaming experience and passion for gaming, a plus
