Effective April 18, 2007, Philippine Rose Online will now be FREE-TO-PLAY! Woot!
As per official statement from the pROSE team:
Greetings!
We are pleased to announce that starting April 18, 2007, Rose Online will be FREE-TO-PLAY until further notice. You can now enjoy playing Rose Online without having to pay for any subscription fees! And if you’re looking to improve your level of gameplay and stand out from the rest, try out the bigger and better Junon Polis Item Mall! Watch out for the new items at our special introductory prices!
The decision to go Free to Play is an experimental setup in order to determine the viability of the free to play business model. We hope you will show us your support.
Starting April 18, 2007, those with remaining subscription time will be credited MOONIES in their account (conversion rates will be posted later).

this is good stuff...im liking that the trend now is heading towards F2P...P2P is also good...but a lot of players (like me) are running on low budget (T_T) and can only afford F2P...so i say, thanks for making it F2P ( :p im downloading it now as i speak! yey! )
I love you guys over at pRose. I am going to play that game 24/7. Thanks for F2P Rose again. I'm on a tight budget as well so I can only do most F2P games. Thanks again.

All I can say is, "Ngayon pa." Hahaha. Joke. It's good that ROSE has finally shifted to ftp. This might help regain players who have quit after the change to ROSE Evolution. I'm thinking about writing about it for GAME!
